Truqui is a full-service construction and general contracting firm, under the personal direction of its founder, Ernesto Truqui. The core of its business philosophy is an unwavering commitment to on-time, on-budget performance, at the highest quality available. Ernesto Truqui prides himself on the dedicated commitment, open communication, and personal relationships he has developed with his clients over the course of work on their projects.

Ernesto came to Puerto Vallarta in 1997 as a result of his winning the contract from real estate development firm DINE to supervise the infrastructure of the Punta Mita Resort development. A short time later, he was also at work on the initial golf course in Punta Mita, the Jack Nicklaus Signature Pacifico golf course.

Impressed by the unequalled natural beauty of Punta Mita, Ernesto decided to establish himself in this region. He began a prolific period of work with DINE on various aspects of Punta Mita, including the initial 100 guest rooms of the Four Seasons Resort. Later, he was contracted to construct an additional 40 rooms and suites.

A short time after his successful completion of the Four Seasons Resort and Nicklaus golf course, Ernest founded his own independent company. The initial project was the supervision and construction of the first and second phases of the (full-ownership residences) Four Seasons Private Villas, as well as the construction of the facilities and first ten buildings of the (fractional ownership) Four Seasons Residence Club, both located within Punta Mita.

As a builder, Truqui has accumulated an impressive resume of projects ranging from the operations center and Dolfinaruim for Vallarta Adventures in Nuevo Vallarta, to numerous private estate residences in Punta Mita. Truqui subsequently expanded into developing their own development projects, among them Las Palmas Club & Villas in Punta Mita, and La Privada, located within the world-renown El Tigre golf course at Nuevo Vallarta. With its abundant experience and reputation for excellence in Punta Mita, Puerto Vallarta, and Nuevo Vallartra, Truqui continues to flourish, in no small part due to the active participation of Ernesto Truqui. Ernesto is known not only for his design and creativity, but also for his honesty, integrity and personal commitment to completing projects with the dedication and importance each deserves.
