I am pleased to provide a letter of recommendation for Ernesto Truqui who managed the construction of my home located within Punta Mita, Mexico. Building a home is a complicated, lengthy and often emotional process and +picking the right person to work with is extremely important. I spent some time interviewing several contractors before beginning construction of my home and I was very impressed with Ernesto on many levels.
On a personal level, I visited his home to see how he lived and what his family was like.?Ernesto and his wife designed and built their own home and it is beautiful. They are a lovely family to spend time with and they have always been incredibly kind to us.
On a professional level, Ernesto communicates well in English, both written and verbal. He listened well to me and quickly understood the level of quality and attention to detail that I was requiring. He did a great job of budgeting for the work and staying on the subcontractors to get the job done. When there was a problem, he made sure it got fixed. We built 22,000 square feet in 10 buildings in 18 months; which is an incredibly aggressive schedule. Ernesto was also willing to provide enormous amounts of detail on the bids and to discuss in depth how were going to approach the problem, etc.
If I were to build a second home in Mexico, I would definitely use Ernesto again.
